Pivot Creative recently teamed up with Skoda Australia and SBS to signwrite a Skoda Octavia Scout 4x4 for an around Australia trip. Whilst the signage was basic the effect had the impact inline with Skoda’s corporate image. It also included a large map of Australia outlining the trip details on the bonnet.
Skoda’s Marketing Communications Manager said - ‘Whether it be cycling sponsorships, corporate drive days, dealer events, press launches or bespoke one-off events, every Škoda Auto event has vehicles that need to be branded. A set of car magnetics can be a great , cost effective way to advertise and promote your business when you want the benefit of a removable sign.
Here is a couple facts when considering a set of car magnets or for caring for the ones you have :-
* Generally we make our magnets at 300 x 600mm. This size gives a good material yield and keeps the magnets affordable. We have also found that this size will fit most car doors.
* The magnets are designed to sit flat on the doors and should not go over any rubber strips or corrugations – this places the magnet at risk of blowing off.
* It is recommended to remove and reapply the magnets everyday.
* Never apply the magnet to the bonnet of the vehicle.
* Ensure the car surface is completely dry and clear before applying the magnet. If there is dirt between the magnet and the car, you are risking scratching the paint surface of the vehicle.
